Hi, I’m David and I’m here to help. I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s true. I love to help people and that’s why I chose this area of work. That reasoning has infused every part of our firm. We’re here to help, all of us, on every issue or problem you might have when you get in a car accident.
I was born and raised here in Washington, over in Kennewick. My sister Angela and I are third generation small business owners. We spent our childhood working with our parents and watching them run successful businesses. From early on, we both saw the value that comes from quality customer service. We all want someone to take care of us, someone who knows us by name and smiles when they see us come through the door. Especially in the legal field, having personalized service from someone who knows you, makes so much of a difference. Our clients are not just a file number to us. They are people, going through difficult times, that we ourselves have gone through. I’ve been in 5 car accidents over the years. It is not a fun process. I know how I wanted to be treated when I was hurt, so I take care of others that way.
For me, I was always good at science and math, so I started my college career at Baylor University in the mechanical engineering program. It turned out I was good at calculus, but it’s not very fulfilling or enjoyable to do all day, so I found myself drawn to political science and law. After changing majors, I finished up my undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and then went to law school at Seattle University.
Over the years, I’ve worked for multiple different law firms, both on the insurance side of things, and the plaintiff’s side. I had the opportunity to see things done right, and unfortunately, also got to see when things were done wrong. I saw what happened when law firms didn’t pay attention to the details and focused only on the settlement, to the neglect of the rest of the case. I took those experiences, paired them with Angela’s similar experience working for insurance, and we built a law firm around the “right” way to handle cases and help people. We have since built a team of people at our firm that have the same empathetic personality, same drive, and same approach to helping and caring for our clients.
I love to help people and I love to teach. I now spend my days doing both of those things and it is so much more fulfilling than solving calculus problems. Outside of work, the rest of my days are spent with my beautiful wife and my three wonderful children, where I find even more happiness than at work.
